Hi there and welcome to my blog! I am so glad that you are here to read about, and join me on, my [somewhat] culinary adventures. Every now and then, I like to deviate from the “culinary” and just blog about the “adventures.”

I started a food blog roughly two years ago as a way to chronicle my love for food and cooking as I established roots in “adult life” (otherwise known as my  mid-twenties). Since my first post, my tastes for food have grown and changed in ways I never could have imagined. And true to its purpose, my blog has been a direct reflection of my dynamic journey.

I’ve always appreciated (and have been accustomed to) a home cooked meal, thanks to a very large and culinary-talented Italian family. But busy city life doesn’t always lend itself to standing over a pot of Bolognese for hours on end.

Evolving over the past few years, my diet now consists of whole foods, (mostly) plant-based foods (let’s be honest and not leave out mounds of salty potato chips!), and that is exactly how I like to cook. There is so much satisfaction in eating natural foods that are easy to prepare, nourish the body and taste great.
